Vodka “Russkaya” is the legendary brand of Russian vodka, the most popular and best-selling vodka in the USSR. It was created in 1967 and quickly won the love of people.
The history of the brand is full of bright achievements:
- in 1967, Russkaya vodka received a gold medal at the international exhibition in Leipzig,
- in 1977 – a large gold medal at the international fair in Plovdiv,
- In 1982, its production set a world record – 3 386 520 000 bottles were produced in a year!
Not a single strong alcoholic drink in the world was produced in such quantity.
Russkaya has a protected appellation of origin “Russian vodka”.
Vodka “Russkaya” is produced by a special technology from grain alcohol, pure water and an infusion of crackers. Light vodka aroma, mild flavor, piquant bitterness in the aftertaste made the brand a national treasure.
Cranberries have been added to Russian alcoholic drinks for many centuries.
This berry, loved by the people, has a number of useful properties, and was taken as the base for the vodka recipe, which includes aromatic cranberry alcohol, obtained by infusion of selected berries, followed by distillation of the infusion through a copper alembic.
Due to this, the crystal transparency of the drink is preserved, and the mild taste of Russkaya vodka acquires noble sweet and sour tones and a warm, sweet aftertaste.
For several hundred years, birch has been used in the production of alcoholic beverages.
The composition of special vodka “Russkaya. Birch” includes natural birch juice, aromatic alcohol of birch buds and light Altai honey, all that gives harmony and natural freshness to the taste and aroma of the drink.
